Kayak Rental Policy
Our Kayaks can be rented with a pontoon
rental for $25.00. However, we rent them from the dock
for an hourly, half-day and day rate (i.e. $15, $45, $65
respectively).
The kayaks are the Wilderness System Fishing Kayaks. Our
vision is to rent a pontoon boat with a tag-along kayak. When
you reach your mooring location, launch the kayak to fish, explore
the mangroves or the backwaters.
When renting from the dock, you would have a two mile paddle which
by boat at idle speed takes 25 minutes. Although, there are
things to see and you can fish in the canal, it primarily is a canal
through the Gulf Harbors residential area out to the Gulf of Mexico.
That is why we recommend taking the kayak along with you when you
rent a pontoon boat. Anclote Key has many back water areas to
explore the beauty of Florida. The end of the canal also has
backwater area to explore should you want to rent from the dock,
paddle to the end of the canal and explore that location.

the closest store), the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation
Commission at their
web site or by phone (the quickest way) by calling

license for Nonresident 3-Day Saltwater Fishing is $17.00. |
